Cape Ann Indivisible Mission Statement

Cape Ann Indivisible welcomes all who are called to safeguard our democracy, protect our most vulnerable communities, and care for our planet.

Aligned with Indivisible’s leadoff 2-year mission to maintain representative government and achieve significant victories in the midterms, we are dedicated to the nationwide effort to resist authoritarian and divisive agendas and to build a democracy that works for us all.

As part of Indivisible’s 2-year plan, together, at the local, state and national levels, we work

• a) to help make our beloved Massachusetts both a refuge against autocratic MAGA policies and also a lifeline for vulnerable communities, and
• b) to wield our constituent power not only to demand a strong response to the Trump-DOGE oligarchic power grab but also to highlight that our government, political system, society, and economy have long failed to serve the people—and to advance a vision for rebuilding our institutions to work equitably for all.

Cape Ann Indivisible is registered with INDIVISIBLE.org and is aligned with the joint mission of Indivisible National and Indivisible Massachusetts Coalition (IMC).
