No Thrones, No Crowns, NO KINGS (3.0)

The Cape Ann community of patriots came together on a chilly Saturday to stand with over 3300 communities, across the nation, and across the world, to reject the rule of a wanna-be king, and to support the Rule of Law. Our mood was cheerfully defiant! We resist the efforts of ICE to terrorize our friends and neighbors. We resist the effort to destroy our civil rights. We reject the illegal war on Iran, funded by reduced services our communities want and deserve! We love our country, it’s flag, and our fellow citizens, and call for a democracy that works for all of us. Before marching down to the boulevard, we enjoyed protest songs by the Headlands band, an inspiring poem by Heidi Wakeman, and speeches by CAI’s Paul Saint-Amand, Kevin Perrin, Sunny Robinson, Hannah Kimberly (Woman’s Equality Cape Ann), Laura Harrington and Lindsay Crouse.
